The Dominican Republic is only a short flight away and may be known for warm weather and sandy beaches but the reality is a continuing lack of quality education leads to limited job opportunities and significant poverty.

Located on the North Coast near Puerto Plata, SHM provides educational programs and community support to equip, empower and effect long term change.

Whatever your skills or talents, you can make an impact on the lives of the people we serve. We would love to have you join us for a week in the Dominican Republic as a short term mission team.
